Position Overview:
Spherion Gainesville, FL is seeking skilled Electrical Assemblers for first and second shifts. This role involves working in a dynamic production environment focused on assembling substantial components and subassemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Assembler, your duties will include:
- Executing a range of specialized electrical assembly tasks.
- Interpreting specifications to determine assembly requirements and options.
- Monitoring supply levels to ensure adequate materials are available.
- Verifying connections for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience with low voltage control systems, automotive wiring, or AC/DC equipment repair is highly desirable.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools.
- The capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A willingness to work overtime and adapt to shift schedules as necessary.
