Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A truck driver to join our team at CDL Drivers Choice. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for hauling research lab products across the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 20-24 Freightliner or KW with automatic transmission, hauling dry van loads.
  • Drive solo, covering trips from IL to IN, MN, KY, OH, WI, IA, MO, MI, ND, and SD.
  • Enjoy home weekly for 34 hours, with paid weekly.
  • Take advantage of $20 per stop pay and detention pay at $17 per hour after 45 minutes.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
  • Have at least 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 12 months.
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have a clean driving record, with no preventable accidents or incidents in the past 12 months.
  • Pass a background check, with no drug test failures or refusals ever.
  • Not have any DWI/DUI convictions in the past 5 years.
  • Not have any safety terminations in the past year.
