GIS Analyst

The City of Nashua is seeking a highly skilled GIS Specialist to join our Administrative Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for utilizing GIS-related hardware, software, and databases to support city-wide operations.

This full-time position reports to the Director of Administrative Services and is responsible for:

• Maintaining and expanding the City's GIS databases
• Instructing, training, and supporting end users in GIS applications, including ESRI ArcMap and ArcView
• Developing and implementing new GIS initiatives and data collection projects

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Three to five years of experience in GIS system design, development, and maintenance
• Proficient knowledge of ESRI ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro, including AGOL applications
• Experience with Cartegraph and CivicGOV or similar asset management and permitting applications
