Francis Marion University (FMU) is in search of a committed professional to contribute to the Master of Speech-Language Pathology program within the School of Health Sciences as a 12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree) in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related discipline.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology along with teaching and mentoring experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Specialization in child language acquisition and disorders, research methodologies, voice disorders, and/or craniofacial anomalies.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and potential for scholarly contributions and securing funding.
  • Current licensure in speech-language pathology in South Carolina or eligibility for such licensure.
  • Experience in diverse educational environments and competency-based educational frameworks.
  • Capability to instruct from an interprofessional collaborative practice viewpoint.
