Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Technician to join our Site Design team. As a Design Technician, you will be responsible for preparing planning and design documents, and processing design calculations. You will work independently on these designs with occasional advice from your supervisor and may direct the efforts of less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare planning and design documents, including site plans, elevations, and cross-sections.
- Process design calculations, including civil engineering and drafting.
- Work independently on design projects, with occasional guidance from supervisors.
- Direct the efforts of less experienced staff, as needed.
- Attend client meetings and handle construction observation, as required.
Requirements
- Associate degree in drafting or related field.
- Prior drafting experience, preferably in a multidisciplinary design firm.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software, preferred.
