About the Role:
Delta Companies is seeking a compassionate and board-eligible or certified Family Medicine physician to join our team in an Emergency Department setting. As an ER care provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to low acuity patients while enjoying a supportive hospital-employed position with direct access to leadership.
Schedule and Benefits:
- Flexible schedule with 7am to 7pm shifts (work 2 days off 2, then work 5 days and off for 5 days)
- Competitive annual salary for low acuity patients
- Free housing while working ER shifts
- Student loan forgiveness through the Louisiana State Funded Program
Responsibilities and Facility Details:
- Average 375-400 patients per month in the Emergency Department (mostly urgent care and clinical cases)
- Not a Trauma Center
- Hospital-employed position with direct access to leadership (open door policy) and strong mid-level Family NP support
Qualifications and Skills:
- Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates
- Will consider late career physicians
- Board eligible or certified in Family Medicine accepted
- MD/DO accepted
- Compassionate bedside manner and good-hearted people skills required
