Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Therapist to join our team at Lakota Schools Endeavor Elementary. As a Group Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering an array of services that meet the individualized mental health needs of children and families served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments of children referred for mental health services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of children and families
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy in school and community settings
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure client mental health needs are met
  • Complete all required documentation, including service tickets, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or related field with licensure in social work or counseling
  • Master's degree and/or independent license preferred
  • 3 years of post-graduate experience or related experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications
Work Environment

This position requires working in a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work with children with behavior problems and be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive.
