Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in Coal City, IL

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Coal City, IL. As a leading healthcare staffing company, Soliant Health specializes in placing healthcare professionals in travel and permanent positions across the country.

Job Details:
  • On-site or Remote: We offer flexibility in work arrangements, including on-site or remote options. If interested in remote work, candidates must have prior remote experience.
  • Full-time or Part-time: We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
  • School Setting: This position is based in a school setting, providing a unique opportunity to work with students and support their communication development.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or equivalent
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • IEP experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with AAC devices preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Provide therapy in individual or group sessions to improve communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans and monitor progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
