Aquatic Educator

At our Manheim Township, PA location, we are seeking a highly skilled Aquatic Educator to join our team. As an Aquatic Educator, you will be responsible for providing coaching and instruction for swimmers of all ages and skill levels in various pools and seasons.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Protect the safety and health of all swim participants.
  2. Assess swimming competencies for each level and make recommendations for placement in appropriate classes.
  3. Develop lesson plans for swimmers of various age and developmental levels (infant-adult).
  4. Teach swimming skills consistent with age and developmental level (infant-adult).

Physical Requirements:
  1. Demonstrate physical fitness, including frequent light to occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs.), standing, walking for long periods of time, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  2. Must be able to provide in-water instruction.
  3. Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
  4. Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  5. Ability to talk, hear, and see.

Essential Competencies:
  1. Demonstrate proficiency of all applicable swim skills.
  2. Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and other coaches.
  3. Know and understand emergency procedures.

Required Skills:
  1. Demonstrate proficiency of swim skills.
  2. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary Range:$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
