We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team at Family Care Network. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of provider credentialing data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining effective relationships with providers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Credentialing and Verification: Coordinate and verify provider credentialing data, including initial and reappointment applications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with providers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing data in our credentialing database, ensuring timely and efficient processing of applications.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of administrative experience or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, or a related field; experience with credentialing software and databases preferred.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and time management skills; proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
- Competitive Compensation: $31.51 per hour.
