Certified Electrician

We are seeking a skilled State Certified Journeyman Electrician to join our production-driven team at Helix Electric. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing electrical installations and troubleshooting in commercial settings.

• Assemble, install, maintain, and test electrical equipment and wiring systems.
• Prepare work areas for equipment installation.
• Install electrical components and connect wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications.
• Operate equipment only if trained and certified to do so.
• Set up and operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, and cable vacuum systems.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
• Secure and lock up equipment after use.

• State Journeyman Electrician Certification is required in states where necessary or highly desirable.
• A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent working knowledge of Building Codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
