Diesel Technician Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Diesel Technician Apprentice to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with roadside services and learn preventative maintenance services.
• Develop skills in electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs, wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs, air system diagnostics and repairs, air brakes diagnostics and repairs, charging system diagnostics and repairs, and basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement.
• Learn parts lookup and acquisition, and assist with inventory management.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
