Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at MJ Care. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with state laws and under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from treatment areas.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current state license and/or certification to provide physical therapist assistant services.
  • Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • 1+ year of experience preferred.
Working Conditions

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift and transfer patients safely, and will have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
