Maintenance Inspector

Industry leading manufacturing company seeks a Maintenance Inspector in the Hagerstown, MD area. This role involves systematic inspections of plant equipment, analysis of data, and initiation of maintenance work orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

This is a permanent position with a competitive compensation plan, including a base salary of $80,000 to $90,000 and a 15% annual target bonus. Relocation assistance is also available.

The successful candidate will have a minimum AA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. They will also possess analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in computer skills.

As a Maintenance Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Systematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment
• Analysis of data collected, completed work orders, and process data
• Initiation of maintenance work orders with a detailed scope of work
• Non-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents)
• Manage and drive the PPM Program
• Quality Assurance of Execution work done on and off site, and of materials received
• Support Plant Safety Program
• Document and monitor equipment history files
• Provide technical support for plant activities and the maintenance functions
• Couch/mentor plant employees
• Active role in budget preparation, forecast updating, and compliance
• Assigned administrative duties
