Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, epidemiology, and infection control. Their role will be to collect and analyze pertinent data to assess risk factors associated with hospital-acquired infections.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement infection control practices to ensure quality and appropriateness of care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify disease transmission risks and develop strategies to reduce these risks
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or a Master's Degree in Public Health. They should also have 2 years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting or 2 years of experience as an MT in clinical microbiology or MPH in a related area. A CIC certification is preferred but not required.
In exchange for your expertise, Temple Health offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. This position also comes with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
