Brief Overview

The Registered Nurse serves as a professional caregiver, taking on responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients within a specified timeframe as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. They oversee and deliver care to these patients by employing the nursing process, which includes the therapeutic use of self.

Required Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in acute critical care is required.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may necessitate advanced certification (i.e., ACLS, NALS, PALS).
