Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Kindred Hospitals. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images in sequence of exposure.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Document appropriate charging of procedures and supplies.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide orientation and training for new CT Technicians.
  • Provide care for the psychological and physical needs of patients for CT scans.
Requirements
  • Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • One year of experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality.
