Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced paraprofessional to join our team at Trumbull Loves Children. As a paraprofessional, you will work one-on-one with children enrolled in our program, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage with children, using positive techniques to promote their behavior and well-being.
  • Monitor activities to ensure a safe and controlled environment, and communicate with parents and staff to address any issues or concerns.
  • Assist with daily activities and implement program plans, working closely with children and staff to achieve their goals.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assist in classroom instruction and learning.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work closely with children.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to remain calm and patient at all times.
  • Knowledge of classroom subjects and at least 1 year of paraprofessional experience in a school setting.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
