About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital. This full-time position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring accurate and safe results.
- Assist physicians in obtaining or entering data into physiologic monitoring systems.
- Accurately report ejection fraction and demonstrate proficiency in assessing cardiac function.
- Administer contrast safely and in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Operate healthcare equipment, consistent with applicable licensure.
Requirements
- Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- No experience required; 1-3 years' invasive cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) with ability to take the RCIS exam.
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000 - $115,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
