Position Overview - Marketing Coordinator

Connections Credit Union is seeking a dedicated marketing coordinator to support our branches in the East Idaho region. We are in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about assisting others, possesses a creative mindset, and maintains a positive demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support branches in crafting and executing strategies for member acquisition and development, including regular visits as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and branches to implement impactful social media initiatives.
  • Act as a representative of the Credit Union, fostering positive relationships with employees and sponsor groups.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute special events to meet established objectives.
  • Assist in the rollout of all Credit Union promotions.
  • Engage with vendors to procure necessary marketing materials.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in marketing.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in a credit union or community banking environment is preferred.
Skills:
  • Position requires significant interpersonal interaction for conflict resolution, relationship building, and collaboration.
  • Discussions necessitate a high level of confidentiality and discretion, demanding diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not essential.
Physical Requirements: The role primarily involves sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing and descending stairs in emergencies and operating standard office equipment. The position may require extended hours as needed. Regular, reliable, and timely attendance is crucial.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Compensation: $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
