About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana.

About the Job

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider. This may involve assisting with treatments ordered by the provider, performing select clinical duties, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts.

You will also be responsible for preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients, performing basic clerical duties, and maintaining records. Additionally, you will assist with ordering and stocking supplies, maintaining a clean and orderly environment, and documenting the provider's encounter with patients.

Your expertise will also include transcribing patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and support.

About the Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. You must also obtain BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date and Medical Assistant certification within 3 months of hire date.

Our salary range for this role is estimated to be between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
