About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume a supportive role and have responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, wellbeing and safety of the patient in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the delegation of medical services as defined by State Medical Practice Act.
  • May perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by an authorized health care provider in accordance with our Health Physician Group Scope of Practice.
  • May assist with front office duties and scheduling of tests and/or patient appointments. Responsible for accurate chart documentation and medical record maintenance.
  • Attend in‐service presentations and seminars to facilitate personal and professional growth.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship‐based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required
  • High School diploma required
  • Previous MA experience in an OP clinic preferred
  • Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
