SALT Dental Partners is a dynamic and growing pediatric dentistry practice seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Expanded Function Dental Assistant/EFDA to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional, outgoing, and well-organized individual who is passionate about working with children. As an Expanded Function Dental Assistant/EFDA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment procedures
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental radiographs
  • Administer local anesthetics and medications
  • Perform coronal polishing and other expanded functions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant/EFDA
  • Current EFDA certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
