Recovery Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Advocate to join our team. As a Recovery Advocate, you will provide substance abuse counseling, case management, and education services to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify client needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide education and support to clients and their families

Requirements

• Peer Specialist Certification required
• Life experience in mental health or SUD recovery or family and willingness to disclose required
• Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required
• Cultural competency understanding required. Bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred
