Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency disorders, head injury, stroke, aphasia, and AAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive therapy and treatment plans for patients with speech disorders.
  • Administer standardized tests to accurately diagnose communication disorders and establish treatment goals and milestones.
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports, and update patient progress to relevant parties.
  • Conduct research on related speech and language problems to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
  • Previous experience in the field of speech pathology, with a strong understanding of communication disorders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
