Job Summary

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Pediatric Urology team. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine care and management of patients with acute and chronic complaints, in collaboration with the supervising physician and through implementation of standardized procedures.
  • Develop and implement plans of care for patients, including ordering diagnostic studies, administering medications, and performing procedures as indicated.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, and facilitate coordination of care with community resources.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate of an NP program accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of California.
  • National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from an agency accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS).
