We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Quality Expert to join our team at Resource Employment Solutions. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our supplier partnerships.

The Role:

This is a mid-level position that requires strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet all regulations and requirements. This includes creating and maintaining accurate records of performance, conducting regular audits, and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards
  • Create and update supplier databases with accurate records of performance
  • Conduct regular audits and identify areas for improvement
  • Liaise between suppliers and company leaders to resolve any quality-related issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Lead supplier launches on quality, delivery, costs, and timing

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality
  • Strong knowledge of IATF16949 or ISO 9001 and PFMEA/CP audits
  • AIAG experience with PPAP/PFMEA/CP/MSA/SPC and PPAP approvals
  • Ability to learn and use CMMs
  • Familiarity with general quality measurement devices
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
