Network Reliability Manager

CME Group is seeking a highly skilled Network Reliability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Network Services Group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining network monitoring, orchestration, and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate and code first approach to ensure efficient network operations
  • Participate in the POD model for service delivery and collaborate with other teams to design and implement tools for automation
  • Develop and maintain network monitoring, orchestration, and automation solutions, including automated inventory reconciliation and remediation, workflow automation, and automated network health monitoring
  • Monitor network infrastructure performance and develop automated solutions to address any issues
  • Perform regular network infrastructure audits to ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards
  • Provide self-service tools for other teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading a Network Automation team
  • Hands-on experience in Network Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and network management
  • Strong programming skills with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Python experience
  • Experience in Scaled Agile Framework model (Product Operating Model) and Netbox
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible and network monitoring tools
  • Ability to build API-based services and common network libraries/framework
  • Strong understanding of Network Domain fundamentals and good knowledge in Network Asset and Configuration management processes
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in using Agile methodologies and tools such as Bitbucket, JIRA, and Jenkins
