Position Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Organization: Steward Health Care

This role is essential in ensuring high-quality patient care through the execution of diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures. The technologist will utilize appropriate techniques, adhere to established protocols, follow physician directives, and apply age-specific guidelines to enhance patient outcomes.

The candidate will be expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of contrast materials, injector systems, angiographic apparatus, necessary supplies, radiation safety measures, and quality assurance protocols. This knowledge is critical for effective daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in radiography within surgical or invasive imaging settings, or equivalent experience that qualifies for ARRT advanced certification in Interventional Radiography.
  • Possession of a current Texas Department of State Health Services License.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology is mandatory.
