Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Engineering: Review and ensure compliance with mechanical datasheets, piping specifications, and plant layout to meet client standards and expectations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Interface with subject matter experts, engineering contractors, and fabrication vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Project Management: Work closely with the project team to ensure mechanical capabilities, PSM compliance, safety, and environmental requirements meet business goals and project objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on piping and mechanical standards, equipment specification review, and spare part strategy.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure design meets internal standards and company policies.
  • Leadership: Lead the mechanical inspection efforts and act as the primary interface with in-house and contract inspectors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with midstream facilities and 5+ years of experience with pipelines in the US.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, piping codes and standards, and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer Licensure: Preferred but not required.
