Job Overview

Family Health Care is seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $28,400 per year (based on 32 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform prophylaxis on patients, including oral x-rays, sealants, and taking impressions.
  • Conduct oral hygiene instruction and education tailored to patient needs.
  • May participate in community education and topical fluoride programs.
  • Assist with other dental functions, including office and billing tasks.
  • Supervise others as needed.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and in-service training.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of oral hygiene principles and practices.
  • Good knowledge of dentistry.
  • Skill in the use of instruments.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to provide dental education to the public.
