Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team at Jobot, a leading public accounting firm. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted member of the engagement team and provide various tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Prepare and review various returns for engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries from middle market to multinational companies.
  • Stay up-to-date on new standards and laws, participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
  • Proactively communicate with engagement team and client on complicated tax matters and specialty tax practices.
  • Focus on professional development via coaching and mentoring tailored to each individual, as well as learning and growing from direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
  • Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.
  • Ability to extract, analyze, visualize, and present data.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
