Job Summary

The Material Handler Level - 1 at Shellback Semiconductor Technology will be responsible for material control, inventory accuracy, and support of production requirements. This role involves working in both a warehouse setting and manufacturing environment, utilizing computer equipment and software such as material resource planning software and Microsoft office.

Key Responsibilities

• Use an MRP system to receive and issue material and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform daily cycle counts and investigate inventory inaccuracies.
• Generate pick lists for production work orders; pick and issue material to production work orders and deliver orders and material to work centers.
• Close production workorders and redistribute material to jobs or stock locations.
• Maintain inventory on production floor, using two-bin systems and other inventory control methods.
• Create labels for material, issuance to work orders, and bin/location maintenance on the production floor.
• Re-assign material locations and move material as material size and quantity dictate.
• Ability to use a forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Stand for long periods of time in a warehouse setting. Ability to navigate steps to mezzanine frequently throughout the day.

Requirements

This position requires in-depth knowledge of all areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate must be organized, articulate, forthright, work well under pressure and have a positive communications style. A High School diploma or equivalent is required. This is an entry-level position with limited travel requirements.
