Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in embedded systems and a proven track record of improving test processes and automation. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead software testing tasks, including review of design change orders, writing test procedures, and testing of engineering products
  • Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, analyzing and writing test standards and procedures
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
  • Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems
  • Improve current manual tests for efficiency and automate tests
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 10 years' software testing experience, including testing in embedded software systems
  • System or network administrator experience preferred
  • Skilled in writing test procedures in a requirements-driven process
  • Experience with military communication on equipment is desired
  • Experience in at least a CMMI-DEV Maturity Level 3 organization is preferred
  • Cisco network experience, including Call Manager, is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Experience with test automation is a plus
  • Experience with tactical communications equipment is a plus
