Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join our team in the residential new construction sector. This role involves operating construction equipment and performing start-ups and repairs of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Operating construction equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Performing start-ups and repairs of HVAC systems to meet company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
  • Testing systems to ensure they function properly and identifying any issues that may require repair.
  • Accurately completing all paperwork and communicating with office staff and management regarding additional work or issues.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work at heights.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Basic proficiency in navigating the internet and email software.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $52,000 - $72,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Working Conditions

This role requires working in various environments, including construction sites, offices, and outdoors. You must be comfortable working in these conditions and be willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
