Job Summary

We are seeking an outstanding Scientist/Engineering Aide to closely work with our Scientists/Engineers. The successful candidate will aid with a variety of programming tasks, provide integration and test support, and apply knowledge obtained to solve routine problems. This position is located out of our Northridge, CA office and will begin in May 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate, revise, update, compile, debug, and write business, scientific, or software computer programs.
  • Develop flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation.
  • Develop and revise program code.
  • Prepare documentation of program development, modifications to code, and operating instructions.
  • Conduct program tests and analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems.
  • Research, design, develop, and verify signal and image collection systems.
  • Define and develop processing and dissemination computer algorithms.
  • Develop requirements analysis, system architecture, and integrate new signal and image capture and processing technology systems.
  • Design, develop, and analyze systems for the extraction of information from sensors.
  • Implement signal and image processing with advanced computer architectures.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or higher in physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Experience with scientific programming in Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or similar languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Required to be on-site, not a remote work position.
