About the Facility:
- The healthcare center consists of two hospitals located in close proximity, providing a range of medical services.
- One of the hospitals is a 466-bed facility offering critical care services, including trauma care, women's health, and pediatric services.
- The institution has received numerous accolades for its quality of care and is recognized as a supportive and engaging workplace.
- Conduct various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Nuclear Medicine.
- Manage the ordering, preparation, calibration, storage, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and other instruments.
- Utilize radiation detection devices effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in necessary computer operations, including relevant software systems.
- Ensure accurate billing and verification of physician orders.
- Maintain departmental records and inventory.
- Execute decontamination and cleaning procedures within the department.
- Provide assistance in administrative tasks, including patient interaction.
- Fulfill ongoing educational requirements to maintain licensure.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required. Licensure from ARRT-N or CNMT is mandatory, along with ongoing education as required for licensure.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
