About the Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the State of California. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for various mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, sanitary, water, and drainage systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that designs meet all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving measures to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure that construction work is done in accordance with approved plans and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
