About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleanroom Assembler III-1 Shift to join our team at Modern Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and cleaning parts to subassemblies and complete units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fabricate parts to subassemblies and complete units, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Test, calibrate, inspect, and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Read and identify blueprint requirements, including Epicor receiving and rejecting parts, final inspection, and documentation.
  • Epicor verification, buy-off, and stamping hard cards, as well as in-process inspection and verification of test certificates.
  • Measure sealing surfaces and O-ring depth, ensuring precision and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Knowledge and use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and leeplug installation tools.
  • Knowledge of testing and integration, including the ability to read wiring schematics.
  • Ability to follow blueprints and read instructions.
  • Ability to train and certify other assemblers, maintaining quality standards.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing assembly experience, with a preference for at least one year at Modern Industries.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to work standing for periods of time.
Special Requirements
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to wear clean room attire for clean room assembly.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
