Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Mechanic - Trailer Maintenance to join our team at American Transportation Services. As a Mobile Mechanic - Trailer Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trailers and other heavy equipment on-site, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely completion of projects.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a trailer/chassis mechanic or similar, with possession of most required tools. You will be expected to perform routine maintenance tasks, inspect and repair air brake systems, and diagnose and repair anti-lock brake systems.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22-$32 depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement and a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K retirement, life insurance, and an incentive-based bonus program.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on trailers and heavy equipment
  • Inspect and repair air brake systems
  • Diagnose and repair anti-lock brake systems
  • Perform repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies
