At Anoka County, we are seeking a dedicated Medlink volunteer driver to provide transportation services to seniors, veterans, and clients of our county.

As a volunteer driver, you will be responsible for picking up passengers at their homes, taking them to their medical and social service appointments, and returning them home.

Our volunteer drivers play a vital role in enhancing and protecting life by providing safe roads and eliminating traffic congestion.

We offer a flexible schedule, with volunteer services available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Passengers are expected to travel independently, with the ability to get into and out of the volunteer's car without assistance.

Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and must fill out a monthly mileage reimbursement form.

To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance.

Additionally, you must successfully pass a criminal and driver's license background check.
