Pharmacy Technician Job Description

Fitzgerald's Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to patients.
  • Assist pharmacists in serving patients' pharmacy needs, including greeting patients, accepting prescriptions, and processing insurance information.
  • Perform administrative and bookkeeping tasks, including inventory control, stocking shelves, and data entry.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a 8 hour shift
