Job Title: Certified Locksmith

We are seeking an experienced Certified Locksmith to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic locking systems, cutting and issuing keys, and performing various locksmith duties.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electronic locking systems
  • Cut and issue keys for all residential facilities
  • Cut keys using code numbers and code books
  • Re-key and repair locks
  • Install and repair exit devices and door closures
  • Address security and emergency needs related to doors and door hardware
  • Perform all locksmith duties requested by supervisor
  • Read blueprints to log keys for new construction and renovation
  • Inspect tools and equipment for safety and operational condition
  • Receive materials, supplies, tools, and equipment and stock in the proper storage area
  • Perform shop maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and clean work area
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
