Electrophysiology Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Nurse to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care at a proficient level, ensuring a safe environment, optimizing outcomes, and maximizing available resources.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Performs functions before procedure, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing patient's medical record to ensure safety checklist are complete.
  
• Responds to life-threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
  
• Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.
  
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• Registered Nurse
  
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  
• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
  
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
  
• 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
  
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
