CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

At Ace Precision Machining, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC Turning Centers and machine metallic parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC turning operations and be able to maintain close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform simple, repetitive, and progressive turning operations on CNC turning machines.
• Maintain close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications through the use of various inspection measuring equipment.
• Utilize SPC charts to report variations in processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC turning equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Department.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with minimum three months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees and other Company stakeholders.
