Responsibilities
  • Practice as a Nurse Practitioner in accordance with the formulary approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating medical conditions.
  • Assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care and serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Active Alabama Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner License.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Prescribing privileges, as documented by the Alabama State Board of Nursing and Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
