Position Summary

BlueHat Mechanical is on the lookout for Top-Level Technicians with significant experience in Commercial HVAC Service, particularly in commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate is someone who is not deterred by hard work, sets a high standard for others, and is committed to delivering quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Repair Commercial HVAC Systems: Engage with customers, collaborate with the service manager, document work accurately, and present completed paperwork to clients.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Conduct contracted preventive maintenance using electronic checklists, document any deficiencies, and provide customers with findings and recommendations for repairs or replacements.
  • Equipment Replacement: Assist in specifying and bidding on jobs for equipment replacement, lead the replacement team, and conduct startup procedures while training customers on new systems.
  • As a senior technician, you will be a role model for junior technicians, guiding their development and enhancing their skills.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of a post-secondary HVAC/R program
  • Over 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R service
  • EPA 608 CFC Certification
  • Clean driving record
  • Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs and climb ladders
  • Successful completion of drug tests and background checks
