We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop an appropriate plan of care for patients with bodily impairments and functional limitations as medically prescribed.
- Assess patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Design and implement a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient's needs.
- Monitor patient's response and progress to treatment and modify treatment plan as appropriate.
- Document and charge accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow up services.
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, family and healthcare professionals within and across care settings and communities.
- Licensed in Florida as a Physical Therapist OR Temporary State permit as Physical Therapist.
- Pay: $46.62 per hour.
- Expected hours: No less than 1 per week.
