At Marmon Foodservice Technologies, we are recognized for our innovative contributions to the foodservice equipment industry. Our mission is to enhance the dining experience through superior design and manufacturing practices. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in refining and implementing manufacturing processes for both new and existing products, ensuring an optimal balance of cost, capacity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Operations teams to align unit performance goals with organizational objectives.
- Diagnose and resolve process issues, coordinating necessary mechanical and electrical repairs with the Maintenance Department.
- Evaluate and plan resource capacity and utilization, defining workspace requirements and optimizing equipment layout for efficiency and safety.
- Create and maintain production routings, work measurement standards, and detailed work instructions for assigned operations.
- Lead initiatives aimed at reducing scrap, minimizing rework, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
- Contribute to new product development and launches by utilizing APQP tools to ensure manufacturability and successful implementation.
- Drive the adoption of LEAN manufacturing principles by developing strategies, training staff, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage capital programs by planning, justifying, executing, and monitoring assigned projects.
