Care for the Transitioning Patient
As a specialized nurse in our Step Down Unit, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units. This rewarding position requires strong communication and adaptability skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the step-down unit
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery and self-care techniques

Requirements:
• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Two years of recent Step Down experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
